Ross Plumer, otherwise known as ‘RP’ at camp, is tremendously excited to return deep in the heart of The Berkshires for the 101st summer of Camp Lenox! Ross will be studying as a rising Junior at Purdue University this fall. RP has been standing to face the lake since 2002, ever since he started as a day camper and joined his mother, a camp doctor at the time. Undoubtedly, Camp Lenox has played a tremendous part of RP’s life and continues to do so. At camp, Ross is the Transportation and Technical Director. As Director of Transportation, he is responsible for coordinating the transportation of all campers and staff during the course of the summer. As Technical Director, Ross is responsible for all of the audio/visual systems in camp and teaching campers about the technical aspects of theatre. He also works in the dining room during meals. In addition, RP is a maître d’ of the afternoon snack, the voice behind morning wake-up, and an associate golf coach for our off-campus program. RP is a proud Twilight League and Davis Cup Champion, past Color War Chief, Cy Young Award recipient, and the pioneer of the Technical Theatre and Lenox Traditions programs. RP can’t wait for the warm weather, but more importantly to be back for “another beautiful day in the Berkshires” at the greatest camp, with the greatest people!
