Arthur Babcock
Arthur is heading back to the Berkshires for his fifth summer at Lenox where he will take up the post of Basketball Director. Arthur played professional ball in Europe for 15 seasons in France, Germany, Iceland, Switzerland, and Norway, where he doubled as player coach and later a coach. As a coach, he led his teams to a record of 298-52, almost as impressive as his 33.5 points per game and 22 rebounds per game that he averaged as a player. He also played in the Continental Basketball Association and earned a tryout with the Washington Bullets. Now Arthur has settled back in his native New York state where he is teaching and coaching in Fulton. Arthur is also working on his masters degree at Oswego State College. Arthur brings with him many years of coaching, teaching, and basketball experience and we are thrilled he will be joining us again. Welcome back Artie!
