In Memoriam
Dear Friends,
It is with a heavy heart that we must tell you of the passing of Fred Sava our basketball director and Lenox family member of 18 years. He will be greatly missed at camp along with his memorable contributions which have become a cornerstone to the Lenox tradition. He passed from this world peacefully, in the warm and caring home of his sister, with family members around him.
Fred, we shared 18 amazing summers with you! How can we forget all the lives you touched, and the camp memories you were part of? We will miss your special love for Lenox and the way in which you made our lives more exciting and meaningful for 49 days of the summer. Who can forget that you were the originator of such classic Lenox special events such as Mr. Lenox, Gold Rush, The Lenox Mini Marathon, PCF Sportsathon Basketball obstacle course, open run during flex period with the best mix of music blaring throughout camp, and our newest tradition: Mini-Me photo contest??? How many teams did you coach to a championship in your 18 years at camp? You coached with grace, heart, and love for the campers...and for that we are truly grateful.
Let's keep the torch burning with the memory of Fred Sava in our hearts,
