Camp Lenox is proud to bear the accreditation of the
American Camp Association.
The ACA Accreditation logo signifies our commitment to the ideals of excellent camping the ACA has exemplified for nearly a century. Ideals shaped by the ACA's extensive membership and partners like the American Red Cross and the American Academy of Pediatrics.
ACA Standards
Their standards focus on educating and equipping camps to provide:
- A safe, nurturing camp community
- Competent and encouraging adult role models
- Healthy, appropriate programming
- In short, an ideal setting to foster leadership and personal growth
We're also members of the Massachusetts Camping Association, the regional branch of the ACA.
While the ACA's benchmarks are the national standards of care for camps, they aren't required. We voluntarily invite the ACA to visit us and review our facilities, programming, management, and staff. They arrive with long experience and over 300 industry-established health and safety criteria.
And when they leave, their logo remains behind, representing 300 more reasons to attend Camp Lenox this summer.
